Rosie Stories Captured
Part of our mission is to preserve Rosie and WWII firsthand stories, and we participated in several podcasts and media interviews during 2025, and also partnered with the National WWII Museum in New Orleans to preserve Rosie names and stories.
Rosie Presentations
An important part of our mission is going beyond the costume to deeply educate communities about Rosie the Riveter and World War II. Our executive director, Jeannette Gutierrez, presents to audiences large and small, and sometimes the Real Rosies of WWII come along for the fun and to greet the public.
Holiday Cardmaking 2026
A wonderful group of volunteers gathered to assemble our annual Michigan Rosies Holiday Mailing. The cards go out to WWII Rosies, WWII Veterans, and our many friends and supporters… a list of over 200!
Michigan Rosies Visit AgroLiquid
We had so much fun bringing our WWII Rosies out to Lansing to visit AgroLiquid, and learn a bit more about how women did important work in the agricultural industry during WWII.

We paid a Rosie Honor Visit to ‘Rosie’ Betty, who had the fascinating experience of being a helpmate to her husband in running a POW camp in Texas!
National WWII Museum Oral History Interviews
We partnered with the National WWII Museum in New Orleans to bring the Gary Sinise Foundation’s Oral Historian out to Michigan to interview 10 of our Michigan Rosies’ WWII Rosie and Veteran friends. They made 3 trips out to Michigan to capture all of the interviews. We are so proud to be a part of preserving history.
