About Michigan Rosies…

Michigan Rosies (Rosie the Riveter Association of Michigan) is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving and preserving the legacy of the WWII Rosie the Riveters and the WWII Greatest Generation, in Michigan and beyond.

Our mission is to educate and engage Michigan communities with their Rosie the Riveter and WWII heritage, to preserve Rosie’s legacy to inspire future generations, and to offer the public opportunities to meet, honor, and learn from these Amazing Americans, who have so much to teach us.

Our group is not affiliated with any local museum or national organization. We are proudly independent and Michigan-based, and we go beyond the costume to deeply educate about Rosie and WWII. The Real Rosies of WWII, living and passed, are always the face and focus of everything we do.

We organize and produce special events that honor the Rosies and WWII Veterans and engage communities with their own Rosie and WWII heritage. We also partner with other prestigious organizations in alignment with our mission and methods. And, we provide outreach to homebound Rosies and WWII Vets, to thank them for their service and patriotism.

We offer informative, well-researched educational presentations… our dynamic Rosie the Riveter speaker presentations are entertaining, engaging, and gets rave reviews. If you’d like a presentation for your group, please click here to contact us.

Rosie the Riveter Rose Gardens

One of the ways we honor Rosie is by helping communities start public Rosie the Riveter Rose Gardens. The Rosie Rose Gardens serve to engage communities with their local WWII Rosie legacy and provide families a way to honor their own Rosie the Riveters.

Rosie the Riveter Speaker Presentations

Many groups and organizations have enjoyed our fun and engaging educational talks on Rosie the Riveter and the critical role women played during World War II. Our Rosie Speaker Presentations include props, exhibits and a colorful slideshow, and are followed by an always informative Q&A session.
