Our Rosie Teddy Bears

Michigan Rosies is a proud recipient of a MotorCities National Heritage Area Mini Grant. The MotorCities National Heritage Area Partnership is a nonprofit corporation that is part of the National Heritage Area System of the National Park Service. Their mission is to preserve, interpret and promote the region’s rich automotive and labor heritage. Our Michigan Rosies mission is to honor the Real Rosies of WWII, living and passed, to preserve the legacy of the working and volunteer women of WWII through storytelling, research, and education, and to engage Michigan communities with their Rosie and WWII history.

Michigan Rosies - Rosie the Riveter Association of Michigan is not a chapter or affiliate of another Rosie organization. We are not an affiliate of any Michigan museum or memorial. We are a proudly independent nonprofit, uniquely situated to partner with historical organizations and communities, locally and nationally, to collect, interpret and preserve the rich Rosie WWII legacy in Michigan… and beyond.
