To kick off a year of centenarian birthdays, our ‘Rosie’ Marge Haskins was queen for the day, and Rep. Debbie Dingell stopped by to celebrate with our Rosies.

We were so proud to partner with the Automotive Hall of Fame to feature Rosie the Riveter Clara Doutly in their new exhibit titles “Achievement: African Americans in Automotive.” The exhibit will be on display throughout 2023. The exhibit will be on display throughout 2023, and will be made available as a traveling display thereafter.

We partnered with the historic Newton of Ypsilanti to co-host a Fireside Chat Tea With Rosie event.

Rosie the Riveter speaker Jeannette Gutierrez enjoyed presenting to the Birmingham DAR.

Our group’s Judy Slater gave a talk on her experiences as a Donut Dolly during the Korean War.

When Rosie can’t come to us, we go to Rosie with tokens of gratitude and affection in the form of our Rosie the Riveter Teddy Bears!

Garden City made our Rosies & Vets feel so welcome in their spectacular annual Santaland Parade, and the ARRA Rosie the Riveter Lunchbox Drill Tea gave a crowd-pleasing performance.

We rocked out at the Elvis Boo Bash in Belleville!

Our Michigan Rosies love service, and who better to serve than our troops and veterans. We delivered a basket of handmade greetings to the Ann Arbor VFW in time for Veterans Day.

Our WWII Rosie the Riveter Clara Doutly celebrated her birthday in style with us at the Bomber Restaurant in Ypsilanti! Rep. Debbie Dingell and several news crews joined the festivities.

Tea With Rosie at the elegant Newton of Ypsilanti was a great success! Chef Allison Anastasio partnered with us to bring our WWII Rosies and Veterans together with the Ypsilanti community.

Our group’s Jeannette Gutierrez was a featured guest on the Commemorative Air Force’s Warbird Tube Channel. Host Steve Buss interviewed her about Rosie the Riveter and Rosie’s legacy.

We all enjoyed a picnic with ‘Rosie’ Clara on Belle Isle and admired the lovely bench dedicated in her honor by the Ford Motor Company.

We partnered with Ypsilanti Township to host this fabulous community event, Ring a Bell for Rosie on Labor Day. Michigan Public Radio’s prestigious long-form radio show, Stateside with April Baer, covered the event and highlighted our organization!

Our WWII Rosies and Vets and Rosebuds were honored guests at the Friends of the Rouge Gala held at the historic Phoenix Mill in Plymouth, MI.

Our group participated by bringing WWII Rosies and Vets to Ypsilanti Township’s Rosie the Riveter Craft Show! We shared a picnic lunch, and enjoyed the day together!

We gathered in Canton, MI to see Sylvia Bandyke’s photography exhibit there. We had a wonderful time sipping lattes while Sylvia shared her work with us!

We dedicated 3 new rosebushes at the Dearborn Rosie the Riveter Rose Garden. Two of the Rosies honored with a rosebush were living and present! Other Rosies and WWII Vets from our group were there to help celebrate.

We put together a colorful unit in the 2022 Ypsilanti 4th of July Parade, with WWII Rosies and WWII Veterans and the ARRA Rosie the Riveter Lunchbox Drill Team.

Our WWII Rosies and Veterans were special guests at the Wings and Wheels Preview Night Dinner hosted at the Yankee Air Museum.
