Rosie Gold Medal Reunion

Organizers Jeannette Gutierrez and Bette Kenward brought together Michigan Rosies from all over metro Detroit to savor the honors received when the Rosie the Riveters of WWII were awarded, collectively and symbolically, the Congressional Gold Medal. Some of the Rosie present attended the ceremony in Washington, D.C. this past April! Rosies who were not there were presented with their own bronze replica of the medal.
