National Geographic Comes to Willow Run to Film Our Rosies

Not one but several crews from National Geographic, coordinated by ARRA Michigan Willow Run Chapter President Nancy Zajac, visited Ypsilanti and Detroit to film, photograph and interview our ARRA Michigan Willow Run Chapter Rosies for NatGeo TV, the National Geographic website, and national Geographic magazine. The Chapter arranged for filming to take place at area locations, including the Bomber restaurant in Ypsilanti and the Willow Run Bomber Plant, the Yankee Air Museum, Graceway Church where the Rosies gather, and at “Rosie” Clara’s home. It was an amazing experience for all involved! After filming wrapped, chapter officers enjoyed a celebratory dinner hosted by NatGeo.
